Moody winter magic
When you think of a photo shoot in winter, naturally you will be dreaming of snow pictures. Living in Denmark, we dont have this joy too often. Instead it is rather muddy, windy and overall just boring. Perfect settings for a photo shoot though. Grey and cloudy days give a phantastic light for horse pictures, we don't have to wait the whole day for golden hour, because the deep sun gives a soft and even light all day long.
Especially with islandic horses, this is a great season for pictures. They are just too adorable in full winter fur. This is also the conclusion Andrea came to, when she planned her photo session. We photographed her horses just free in the herd, without any props or interference. Just two horses, living their best life.
